Or call, Child Care Aware at 1.800.424.2246, a free national child care resource and referral service.Some Child Care Centers believe early childhood is a crucial time for exploring, discovering and learning for young children and provide curriculum to support this belief. Yet, parents need to be fully aware of the credentials of the entire staff, the centers last licensing review and how child monitoring procedures are communicated.
Parents should know the student-to-teacher ratios including - the number of Certified Teachers at the school and in your childs class room, dates of all holidays and closed days that a variety of Centers take. Oh yes, you'll need a back-up of at least 4 providers to have at your disposal on those days the Center is closed, on holiday and for the days your child is sick. By-the-way... you will be paying the Child Care Center during their holidays, your holidays, your child's sick days and on the days a Child Care Center is closed for fall and summer preparation or short break days too!
If you'd like a Child Care Locator list for your area, just send your requests to us by email. HomeBIS® will rely to fax or, email requests only, of no more than 3 zip codes per fax number or email address per year. We will email or, fax a list of all Child Care Locations available to us from our data bank within a 15 to 20 mile radius of the 3 zip-codes provided.
